Happy New Year!

The kids learned about Chinese New Year at school this week. Xavier also passed his swim class level.

Ringing the bell!

Getting his medal. Big surprise as we didn't know this was happening!

His mask he made at school.

February round up!

We've had Valentines Day, a birthday and a trip this month. It's been busy, but oh so much fun!

Xavier sporting some new banana pants!

I love to watch him in class. He's just like the girls, a total student.

Beatrix played some basketball in a recreational league. They had K-1st teams. Check out Beatrix and her teammate!  Size difference?!

We said we were going to Target. He literally ran to his room to get his piggy bank. We brought a piggy bank to Target!

After church one day we ran into soccer friends. It was a beautiful day for a picture.

What do you do on Super Bowl Sunday when you don't watch football?  You score awesome seats to Disney on Ice!

It was an amazing show and we recommend it.

We could reach out and touch Mickey!

Not to mention Minnie too!

All of it was so great.

Spring is here!  We are enjoying warmer days. Beatrix Scootering home from the bus stop.

I bought new chalk the other day. I always forget how much they love sidewalk chalk.

Xavier studied the Presidents in school. He even made a hat. I love how he always comes out wearing it.

We had a date night a couple weeks ago. We don't do this often. Somehow Xavier managed to head butt Beatrix in the mouth and knock a tooth loose. Awesome.

We had a rainy day in the valley that brought beautiful snow to the mountains!  This is just outside our neighborhood.

Since the weather is warming up, we started to drive the bmw more with the top down!

The kids had a Monday off from school. Swim America had an all day Cupid's clubhouse camp. I signed up all 3 and they loved it. They did gymnastics, crafts, had lunch, swam and then learned the Cupid shuffle. I was so happy they liked it.

Sometimes kindergarten work brings you happy tears. Here is an example. I love that he drew himself bald!

Xavier loves, loves rice. His favorite place to go sadly is Panda Express.

This is what I call helmet hair.

Xavier's new thing is rollerblading to the bus stop to pick up the girls. Then the girls help him get home. Sibling love is the best.

I was so surprised to open the Bach Children's choir newsletter and see Xavier looking back at me!

Happy Valentine's Day!  I bought the scarf on Beatrix for myself. She seemed to snatch it up really fast for herself.

Beatrix at her Valentine's Day party at school.

We took off for Tahoe for a long weekend!  It was a slow drive up with traffic, but Xavier passed out!

Beatrix with Ainsley under the blanket next to her.

We signed the kids up for all day ski school. It was a gift to them and also ourselves. It's hard to teach 3 kids to ski at once!  Here is Beatrix on the first day.

The ride up the gondola was snow free, but the views were amazing.

The infamous Lake Tahoe!  Quite a view.

Happy 4-0 birthday to this guy!  Nate celebrated his birthday snowboarding all day. It's a rare occurance that we have consecutive hours together without kids. I had him skiing to the max. We skied 18 runs in one day!

Another gorgeous view from the top.

Celebrating Valentine's Day outside!  It was the warmest day we had ever skied in our lives!

They take pictures of the kids at ski school. How sweet is this boy?

Always a fun night in the hotel/condo when the guy down the hall burns pizza, sets off the smoke detectors and the fire department shows up evacuating the hotel after you put your kids to bed!

I couldn't get enough of the view.

We secretly spied Ainsley at ski school!

We even got to ride the chairlift with her and her new friend from ski school, Shayla.

After ski school was over, I took a few runs with Beatrix!  We rode the chairlift together!

Then I got a run in with Xavier. Here we are on the chairlift together!

Heavenly had our favorite...an incredible candy store!

Our legs were sore after skiing so we took jacuzzi rubs in the condo. We almost lost Xavier in the sea of bubbles.

On our way home we stopped to have brunch in South Lake Tahoe. This was the view from the table.

Another shot from the table.

These pictures are really sweet.

My buddy in his "armour" at the bus stop.

After Ash Wednesday mass.

On the way home from church, Beatrix announces that her tooth fell out. Tooth fairy will visit tonight!

I can't believe her tooth stayed in as long as it did. Check out her new tooth already in place!

That wraps up a few weeks!
